Common questions

A few clear answers before you go.

Every patient and pattern of hair loss is different. These general answers provide context; a consultation is needed for personal recommendations.

What is Precision Hair direct implantation?

Individual follicular grafts are extracted and placed by the surgical team using fine instruments. The precise technique and implantation plan depend on your donor area, hair characteristics and desired outcome.

Will a hair transplant leave scarring?

All surgery creates some scarring. Follicular extraction usually leaves many tiny dot scars across the donor area rather than one linear scar. Their visibility varies and should be discussed during assessment.

Is a hair transplant procedure painful?

The scalp is numbed with local anaesthetic. Patients may notice pressure or movement during the procedure, while mild soreness or tightness can occur during early recovery. The team explains pain relief and aftercare in advance.

Will I need to take medication?

Short-term medication may be supplied after surgery. Some patients may also be offered ongoing hair-loss treatment to support existing hair, but any prescription depends on medical suitability, potential risks and informed consent.

Which hair-restoration approach is right for me?

That depends on the cause and extent of hair loss, donor-hair availability, health history and expectations. A proper assessment may lead to conservative care, medication, surgery or a combination—and sometimes no procedure.

When are transplant results usually visible?

Early shedding of transplanted hairs is common. New growth often begins over the following months, with maturation continuing for around a year or sometimes longer. Timelines and outcomes vary between patients.
